If you have an older Spectrum Aquatics ADA pool lift, it’s important to know that some of its key electronic components are no longer being manufactured. Warner Linear, the company that supplied the electronic parts for these lifts, has discontinued production. Once existing stock runs out, these replacement parts will no longer be available. To keep your lift operational for as long as possible, now is the time to secure any necessary replacement components.
Understanding Your Pool Lift’s Electronic System
The first step in determining what replacement parts you may need is identifying which version of the system your lift uses. Check the sticker on your battery:
- SBC-24V-BP5 (V5) – This is the final Warner version, which is wired instead of wireless. This version has recently been discontinued by Warner Linear and is no longer available for Spectrum to purchase.
- SBC-24V-BP3 (V3) or SBC-24V-BP4 (V4) – These are older, discontinued Warner wireless systems.
- TiMotion Label – If your battery mentions TiMotion, your lift already uses the newer TiMotion system and does not require Warner components.
If you’re unsure of which version you have, you can send photos of your lift and battery to helpdesk@poolweb.com for confirmation.
Why You Should Buy Replacement Parts Now
Many older lifts still use Warner components, and while they are currently in stock, they won’t be restocked once sold out. Additionally, you should consider the age of your current components and their typical life expectancy, which is 2-4 years if properly maintained. If your components are reaching the end of their expected lifespan, it’s wise to secure replacements now to prevent unexpected failures.
Here’s what you should consider purchasing to avoid being left without a working lift:
- Battery and Control Box (152149 for V5 systems) – Essential for keeping the lift powered and functioning.
- Charger (42732 for V3 users) – If you have a V3 system, your existing charger won’t work with a newer V5 battery.
- Actuators – These components are still available, but once stock runs out, replacements will no longer be available.
- Rotational Motors – Rotational motors are no longer available. If you need a replacement, you will need to purchase a new lift.
- Remote Controls – Remotes are completely out of stock. If you need a new remote, you will need to purchase a new lift.
How Long Will These Parts Be Available?
Warner is no longer manufacturing these components, which means that once our current stock is depleted, they will no longer be available. If your lift uses Warner parts, it’s essential to plan ahead and purchase the necessary components now to avoid future disruptions.
Save Money with Our Replacement Part Bundles
To help customers prepare for potential failures and save money, we offer replacement part bundles that include key components. These bundles ensure you have the necessary parts on hand when you need them, reducing downtime and preventing costly emergency replacements. Investing in a bundle now means peace of mind knowing your lift will remain functional without unexpected delays.
What If Your Lift Needs More Than a Battery or Control Box?
If your lift requires additional major components—such as a new rotational motor or a remote—you may need to consider replacing the lift entirely. The MotionTrek BP350 was designed as a direct replacement for the Aspen & Freedom lifts and utilizes the same deck anchor so no construction is required. [You can purchase that lift HERE.]
By planning ahead and securing replacement parts now, you can extend the life of your Spectrum ADA pool lift and avoid costly last-minute replacements.
