The Pentair Quad EC D.E. 80 is a Cartridge Style Filter that is sized at 80 square feet with a flow rate of 160 GPM and has 2 inch plumbing. The Quad features a four-cartridge configuration that is designed to trap more dirt and extends time between cleanings. When water passes through these easily removable cartridges, microscopic impurities like dirt, algae and some forms of bacteria are filtered out, giving you water that really sparkles. In addition, you have three options to clean the filter and cartridges: backwash and recharge like a traditional D.E. filter, remove and rinse off the cartridges, or simply remove the lid, leave the cartridges in place, open the drain plug, and rinse.

Like many of the Pentair E-Commerce filters, the Quad filter tanks are constructed of chemical resistant, fiberglass reinforced polypropylene. This gives the filter exceptional strength and an extra long life. The cartridge elements are easily removable for maintenance. And the unique internal flow path ensures optimum filtration and backwashing efficiency.
