Advantages of DPD Test Kits

DPD Test Kits test for the level of disinfectant present (free chlorine) in your pool water with a high degree of accuracy. Many of the kits include tests for pH and other factors.

Professional Color-Matching Kits

Many test kits designed for professionals use the color-matching or drop-count titrations for straightforward answers. These kits typically use 2 ounce or tablet reagents and cover a variety of factors.

Ideal Alkalinity/pH Levels

Alkalinity levels should be between 80 and 120 parts per million (ppm). And your pH levels should be between 7.2 and 7.8 ppm.

Description

This is a Service Complete Kit for Chlorine/Bromine, pH, Alkalinity, Hardness, and CYA (DPD High-Range) with 2 ounce bottles. The K-2005C tests for Total Bromine, Free and Total Chlorine, Total Alkalinity, Cyanuric Acid, Hardness, and pH with Acid/Base Demand. It does this by using the 2000 Series Comparator, visual determination and drop test systems. And it uses DPD, blended indicator, turbidimetric Phenol Red chemistry.

The K-2005C is part of the Commercial 2000 Series which is designed for the kind of comprehensive, routine testing performed by service technicians, commercial and public pool operators, and environmental health specialists. It allows users to build up their test kits in a stepwise fashion as their testing needs grow without having to purchase a new case or color comparator.

This kit among 19 others have been granted NSF certification and are listed under NSF/ANSI 50 Equipment for Swimming Pools, Spas, Hot Tubs and Other Recreational Water Facilities.

Every kit in the 2000 Series includes a copy of Pool and Spa Water Chemistry, complete with 11 tables to facilitate chemical adjustments, as well as Taylor's unique Watergram for quick water balance calculations. Case is molded polypropylene.
