Description

The new Colorado Time Championship Elite Start System features an external 360 degree strobe light that flashes with the start signal tone. You can drive up to 12 Relay Judging Platforms with Speedlights, up to 13 External Visual Indicators, and 20 auxiliary block speakers or 2 underwater speakers with this system.

The Championship Elite Start System is unique in that it has External Visual Indicators (EVIs). EVIs function as either a strobe or a lane indicator and feature variable intensity settings for outdoor or indoor use. They level the playing field by giving athletes a visual cue to the start. Another great feature is Visual Start Signaling (VSS). VSS provides a clear visual start sequence behind the block, on the block and signals "Take Your Marks." It uses multi-color LEDs of the EVIs and was designed for athletes who are deaf or hard of hearing. But this system is useful to all swimmers. You can also alternate start tones and customize "Take Your Marks" messages. In Training Mode, the Elite has an automated "Take Your Marks" message and start signaling with variable intervals between starts.

This rugged and flexible start system consists of a start module with a built-in 40-watt/8-ohm speaker and wired microphone. The Elite Start System can only be operated from battery power (built-in). The included power adapter (24 VDC at 2.5A) is used for recharging indoors only. The battery typically recharges in approximately 2.5 hours. The operating time is more than 15 hours of normal use without EVIs or VSS.

The Championship Elite Start System is designed for elite competition and training. It can easily be installed at existing aquatic facilities and can be implemented into new pool construction design plans. This system can be easily installed on a tabletop, tripod, or flagpole mount.
