CO2 Gas pH Control System With Regulator - 110 Volts

Description

This is a CO2 Gas pH Control System with regulator. It has a factory set at 80 PSI for outlet pressure and 30-100 SCFH for flowmeter. The Victor SR311 is a high capacity CO2 flowmeter and is distributed by Chemtrol. This unit features a three position Isoation Point Valve (IPV) with bracket set-up, lifeguard safety high pressure hose, and ASCO Solenoid valve. Chemtrol's CO2 control system is a single tank unit and recommended for commercial pools up to 500,000 gallons.

Carbon Dioxide CO2 is a natural, non-corrosive gas that can be used as a substitute for other acids (such as Muriatic acid HCl) in chemical treatment of pools and spas. When CO2 is dissolved in water, it forms carbonic acid H2CO3, a weak acid which can be used to lower the pH of water and neutralize liquid chlorine.

By switching to CO2, there is less danger of excessive low pH in the water. Plus there is no handling of corrosive acid containers. For a two tank unit, see the Automatic Switchover Control System (#CO2AUTO).

If you require a 230 Volt unit, you will need to call the order in so we can designate it properly for Chemtrol. All units come standard with 110 volts.

CO2 increases the alkalinity of water and is, therefore, not recommended for applications where high alkalinity is a problem. Total Alkalinity (TA) should be maintained between 80 and 125 ppm.
