Description

This Hayward HydraRite HYR400L4 Secondary UV Sanitizer has 4 inch inlet/outlet unions, 120 Volts, one UV lamp, and has a flow rate of up to 352 GPMs. HydroRite UV Commercial Ultraviolet Disinfection Systems combines three powerful disinfectants into one vessel and offers unprecedented plug-and-play installation. The HydraRite secondary disinfection systems are the only low-pressure UV system NSF-certified to kill Cryptosporidium and other chlorine-resistant microorganisms.

The unit is constructed of Schedule 80 PVC with a 316 stainless steel interior lining. The secondary UV systems along with Hayward salt chlorinators can be combined with the CAT controllers for a completely automated sanitation system. Features of the HydraRite UV are a pressure and flow safety shut-off, a thermal limit shut-off, a safety cover removal sensor, and audible and/or LED error message.

The HydraRite UV Sanitizers are a low-pressure system, high output amalgam ultraviolet light sterilizer designed for commercial swimming pool applications. The vessel rated pressure is 50 psi and can be used indoor or outdoors. It has a lamp life of 13,000 hours.

These UV sanitizers combine dual-wavelength UV to produce advanced oxidants to inactivate chlorine resistant microorganisms while reducing skin irritating chloramines by up to 50%. With durable, low-pressure lamps and a 120 volt power input, they conserve energy while maintaining chlorine efficiency. This lowers costs and extends salt cell life by minimizing chlorine use. The vessels are compact and lightweight which allows for easy in-line vertical or horizontal installation. Plus the user interface is simple and easy to understand.
