Description

The Hayward Pro Series S180T93 18 Inch Aboveground Pool Filter System incorporates an 18 inch Pro Series Sand Filter, a 7-position Vari-Flo filter control valve, a 1-1/2 HP PowerFlo Matrix pool pump, a one-piece deluxe base, and a 1-1/2 inch hose package. The pumps and filters are performance-matched to provide maximum flow and energy efficiency.

The Pro Series S180T holds 150 pounds of sand. It has a durable filter tank for long-lasting, all weather performance. The Pro Series filters feature a large pressure sand/water drain for rapid winterizing or servicing. They are equipped with precision-engineered umbrella-fold, self-cleaning laterals. The S180T model has a filtration area of 1.75 square feet and flow rate of 35 GPM.

On top of the filter sits a 7-position Vari-Flo valve. The Vari-Flo features an easy-to-use lever handle that allows you to dial up the seven functions. The functions are Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Recirculation, Close, and Winter. Plus it has an integral sight glass that allows you to see when the backwashing cycle is complete.

This aboveground system operates with a 1-1/2 HP PowerFlo Matrix pool pump that is uniquely superior for an aboveground pool. It has a heavy-duty, high-performance motor with an integrated automatic thermal overload protector. The pump also has an industrial-size strainer basket that ensures a large debris collection and minimal maintenance. The C-Clip connection allows for easy disengagement of the strainer housing for easy maintenance.
