Description

This is a Pentair SD40 Sand Dollar Aboveground Filter System that consists of a 40 GPM Sand Dollar Filter and the OptiFlo Aboveground 1 HP TEFC pool pump. They have been paired together for a powerful, high-performance, and rugged filter system for your aboveground pool. The system includes a 6 foot hose kit.

The Sand Dollar pool filter features a one-piece thermoplastic tank with a 6-function multiport valve. The special internal filter design keeps the sand bed level which is critical for consistent performance and extended filter cycles. The sand filter has a pressure gauge and manual air relief for easy monitoring and service. The Sand Dollar also has a combination water and sand drain that makes servicing and winterizing fast and easy.

The OptiFlo pump has a large strainer basket with a see-through lid and Cam and Ramp lid lock. The pump features a proprietary Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) motor, fiberglass-reinforced components, and a metal motor base. The pump also has unionized discharge port connections with user-friendly removable drain plugs.
